2016: When I got back from working overseas and was in between jobs I was creating projects for myself. I was freelancing a bit, but had an idea after I went to visit the St. Louis Art Museum. Looking at the paintings through the eyes of a designer, and more specifically seeing the color palette that make them up. I created 5 initially, because I feel 5 fleshes out a thought cohesively. It also gives me enough to go back and evolve. I had the idea of creating something commercial/merchandisable for the museum, so thought of these as posters or postcards. A modern minimal take on some classic artworks.
